The Ten Mile Recpath will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, May 24-25, for tree-cutting work by Xcel Energy. Crews will be cutting branches and felling trees to create clearance for power lines.
The closure will stretch from the Frisco park-and-ride at the west end of Main Street, all the way through to the Copper Mountain Frontage [ ]

The Frisco Water Division will be shutting off the water to buildings on Creekside Drive between Miners Creek Road and Galena Street on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 9:00 am to 4:30pm. Due to significant spring snowfall, the Towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, Frisco and Silverthorne have cancelled their Town Clean Up Days on Saturday, May 20, 2017. The Town of Frisco is rescheduling its Town Clean Up Day to Sunday, June 4, 2017, and Summit County will still be offering free electronics, pharmaceutical and household hazardous waste [ ]

Summit County is recognized across the West as a leader in community wildfire protection. In 2008, local voters approved a mill levy that now funds a variety of wildfire mitigation programs, including the Summit County Chipping Program, which launched in 2014. Through the Chipping Program, thousands of Summit County residents and property owners have taken concrete steps to protect their homes from wildfire.
